Day After Christmas
Grandpa Shaun has his retirement party at the Walz Christmas. He was very pleased with his reitrement gift... $1000 for new clubs who wouldn't be happy. It was good to see all the faces and Caleb was past around. I'm so blessed to have a baby that doesn't mind other people. I wonder if he's going to do my social butterfly? Maybe.
We finished the day back at my house with Lasagna for dinner with the immediate family. It's been a while since the Colorado Kennedy's have been home for Christmas... great to be able to see them and get caught up. It was a rather low-key holiday for us considering that we typically have 8 Christmas to go to in 2 days. We skipped a few. Hopefully, people will forgive us :)

Christmas Day
We spent the morning with Paul's folks, then went to his Aunt Dana's and relaxed...so nice to do that. Afternoon nap on Christmas Day. Doesn't get much better than that. Finished the day off with opening some more gifts at home. Needless to say we were all pretty tuckered out from the festivites.

Christmas Eve
We had a busy Christmas Eve. Christmas with the Hines and with the Lorentz Family. Caleb did pretty well for himself. Food was great and plenty of toys. He got some Veggietale movies too! Mommys pretty excited about that one. I'm hoping he will want to sit still for a few minute while I get some stuff done. I know that won't happen yet but one can hope, right?

Christmas with the girlfriends
I'm friends with a group of ladies, however we don't live close so it makes it a bit difficult to get together. We made an effort and got together before Christmas. It was so nice to see all of them. Caleb joined me and Alden (Lynnea's baby) also joined us. I was a fun time of white elephant gifts and all the latest gossip :)

Venison!
We got alot of snow this weekend. Paul wanted to enjoy all the white stuff and go snowmobiling. We packed up the family and went down to Paul's parents house. Long story short... there was so much snow the boys got stuck and the rest of us were snowed in. Luckily they add a pack n' play and a high chair so we could have some where for Caleb to sleep. It made for a good relaxing day for me and Caleb enjoying playing with his aunt, uncle, grandpa, and grandma. During this event, Paul (Daddy) thought is was a great idea to let Caleb try his first piece of meat... a venison stick. Caleb doesn't have any teeth however, he did love the venison and he manage to hollow out the stick!

Can't get enough of standing
Caleb's latest is standing under the table. I couldn't get him out from under the table to eat his dinner before bed. So I gave in, rather than letting his food go to waste, Caleb eat his dinner underneath the dining room table. Yes all that stuff on his face is food.. I can't get the little man to stay still.

Santa
It was a pleasent surprise... we went out for pancake breakfast so Caleb could meet Santa. Caleb did ohh so well. Baby photos with Santa always seem to have a baby screaming and Santa smiling away. Caleb liked Santa or maybe just his beard : ) He did very well. He pretty much just stared at him like "why haven't you shaved, that's got to itch."

I can stand Mommy!
Caleb continues to show my his strength day after day. This morning I went to get Caleb out of his crib and there he is standing waiting for me! Most mornings he lets me know he's awake by crying, but this morning I heard his little voice singing away. He's so precious. I'm going to have to lower the mattress soon.

Christmas and 9 Month Photos
An old friend of ours came to the house and took our Christmas photos. Joe did an amazing job! I can't wait to send out our Christmas cards this year! It was so nice having the photos taken in the privacy of your own home. Caleb wasn't the most smiley baby for occasion but we still manage to get a several good shots.
