Caleb's Birthday Party Part 2

My One Year Old!

Today Caleb is one years old. One year ago today I gave birth to a beautiful little man, Caleb Michael Lorentz. Went to the doctors for his one year check up. He's still way below the curve but no one is worried.  Caleb has been consistent with his grow no big growth sperts yet. we are still waiting but //enjoying our pint size guy.

Birthday Party Part 1

We had a birthday party with the Hines Family.  Caleb had his first taste of Grandma Debbie's Fettucine Alfredo.  Caleb like his momma loved it.  Here's a few photos of the party.  Please don't judge my cake decorating skills...the Icing melted before I got a good photo of the cake.

Baby's 1st Haircut

I realize he doesn't have much hair, but he was getting a little out of control on top.  For the most part Caleb did very well.  He didn't like having me trim around the sides and neck however.  That or he didn't like Grandma holding his head.

Not-So-Happy Valentine

Caleb woke up with a 104 temp on Valentine's morning. I nursed him then proceeded to go to the chiropractor and get him adjusted.  We went back home so a luke warm bath.  The poor guy hated it and he loves bath time.  He didn't want to play at all just wanted to be with Momma and nurse.  He nursed for several hours making me sore, but I'd do anything to make him feel better.  I gave him soon tylenol which seemed to help a little.  And I kept on cooling him down with a damp cloth.  It was a very lazy day catering to my babies every need.  He got up to 104.4 but by the end of the day I saw progress.  Paul came home with some gifts then I left to go get him something came home made dinner.  It was lovely having my two men with me on Valentines.  I just wished my little man felt better.  Even sick he just melts my heart.

Grandma's Kitchen Started

Friday before Valentines we went out with a couple and had a dinner date.  I thought that was good enough so we didn't need to spend boko bucks for the big V-Day.  Sunday had plans on going out for a date just the two of us and have Grandma and Gramdpa Kennedy watch Caleb, but I decided that I would be very thoughtful of us if we were to paint there kitchen for them.  Paul made it even better by bringing a few upper cabinets with just give mom a little teaser. They were so pleased minus Grandpa on the wall color.  He'll come around. Here's a few pics of the process.
